Korea Herald: ‘NK leader’s attitude toward Chinese envoy shows his frustration’

A lack of response from the North Korean leader toward an ongoing visit by China’s special envoy may be a sign of Kim Jong-un’s frustration toward China’s newfound cooperation with the United States, an expert in South Korea said Monday.

“The meeting between Kim Jong-un and Song Tao, if realized, could be viewed as a barometer for the North Korea-China relationship and if there is no sign of such interaction by the end of the trip, it means Kim is expressing his discomfort over China’s North Korea policy,” said Koh Yu-hwan, a professor at Dongguk University in Seoul.

Beijing dispatched Song Tao, who heads the ruling Communist Party’s external affairs department in Beijing, to Pyongyang on Friday to “inform North Korea of the (19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party),” said China’s state-run Xinhua News Agency.

You really believe Kim Jong -Un, takes on the entire world and openly snubs China while facing war with the US, which he'd lose quite likely --- Or you open your eyes and see what actions have happened and ignore the talks and symbolism that won't matter one iota two years from now. What has happened is that China delayed our actions, supplied north Korea with military equipment and prepped them up financially and politically during a crucial early phase of the nuclear program (basically protecting and helping them). Why you keep on choosing to only pay attention to the empty words of China amazes me. China basically enables Korea to do what they do. Not figuratively. Literally. They literally sold everything from mobile rocket launchers to the rocket fuel to north Korea. They literally threatened us with war in case we dare to do something about it. They literally weakened economic sanctions. So they weaken our political hand and forbid us to use the military hand. Don't you actually see that? These are actions that hurt our national security. The words and show they put up, please. .that cost them nothing but the ticket and hotel costs and they can use it later to say "we tried so hard, we promise. ..pinky swear". Lol and you eat it up like there's no tomorrow :))))
