Nancy A Youssef, Daily Beast: CIA and Pentagon Bicker While Russia Wipes Out U.S.-Backed Rebels

American-armed rebels are in deep trouble in the city of Aleppo. Washington’s response: Escalate the fight—between the U.S. military and intelligence communities.

U.S.-backed opposition forces in Syria’s largest city are facing a ferocious Russian-led assault, raising fears that the rebels could be eliminated in a matter of weeks.

So how are the Pentagon and the intelligence community responding?

By catfighting among themselves.

WNU Editor: Nancy Youssef in her column focuses on the disagreements between the Pentagon and the CIA on what should be the policy when it comes to supporting their Syrian rebel allies. But where she should actually focus her ire on is the White House .... they are the ones who are running this show, and if they are not willing to show leadership and/or direction on what should be the U.S. policy .... President Obama and his National Security staff are the ones to be blamed. But this lack of direction from the White House is telling, and what it is telling is that there is no U.S. policy when it comes to Syria .... and here is an easy prediction .... I do not expect one from President Obama as he completes his term in office.

part of the Cessesation, the US was supposed to either:

- get their pet jihadi's to stop aiding and abetting alQuida, withdraw from shared spaces with al-Quida, provide the locations of those spaces to the US and the R+6, and either join the Cessation, or join in operations against alQuida,

- or, failing this, the US was supposed to allow the addition of these pet jihadigroups to the terrorist lists.

The US has done neither.

So, after a "decent interval", the R+6 has gone back to killing alQuida and their terrorist allies in Aleppo.

That's right, they have done nothing -- except air drop weapons and ammunition to their IslamoNazi proxies.

Everywhere they go they support the most regressive elements of the society or conflict. Case in point, Libya. A socialist country that DID work until the SOBs destroyed it.
