Western Military Forces To Be Deployed To Libya To Seize Islamic State Oilfields

Mirror: SAS spearhead coalition offensive to halt Islamic State oil snatches in Libya

The aim is to halt the advance of 5,000 extremists who have seized more than a dozen major oil fields, boosting their war coffers

Crack SAS troops are in Libya preparing for the arrival of around 1,000 British infantrymen to be sent against ISIS there in early 2016.

Special Forces including military close observation experts from the Special Reconnaissance Regiment are spearheading a major coalition offensive against the terror network.

The operation will involve around 6,000 American and European soldiers and marines - led by Italian forces and supported mainly by Britain and France.

WNU Editor: This deployment is an admission that the Islamic State is winning in Libya.

Faz,

then the Italians should have stopped playing Mare Nostrum to Sarkozy's Bonaparte circa NATO.

The EU being threatened by these goons is just sauce for the goose.

Nobody gives a s### about what Italy wants.

The article does say led by italy so ld assume theyve instigated it and will be the biggest contributor

I hear ya Faz, I read it too. It sure is convenient to have a "threatened" member of the gang "lead" this "new" initiative.

Oddly, it seems Italy's new found influence hasn't translated into reigning in the sanctions on Russia. Apparently, the harm caused to Italy's economy due to the latest extension, let alone her protestations to that effect, doesn't qualify as "threat" enough to stop them.

BS most assuredly is baffling brains on this stinky mess.
