Don't Mess With Nuclear Russia, Putin Says -- Reuters

(Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Friday Russia's armed forces, backed by its nuclear arsenal, were ready to meet any aggression, declaring at a pro-Kremlin youth camp that foreign states should understand: "It's best not to mess with us."

Putin told the assembly, on the banks of a lake near Moscow, the Russian takeover of Crimea in March was essential to save a largely Russian-speaking population from Ukrainian government violence. He said continued fighting in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists launched an uprising in April, was the result of a refusal by Kiev to negotiate.

There he goes with all that 19th century stuff again. It's time to "release the Hashtags!" And Kerry shall wear chartreuse.
I really wish Putin would quit being so ambiguous, it's just going to confuse the planning for the US.

Once in a while Putin goes "unhinged" .... and the reaction is always predictable. In this way he reminds me of President Reagan. Case in point .... while waiting for a TV interview to begin President Reagan was caught on tape talking about bombing the Soviet Union. I knew that he was joking .... but my Russian colleagues freaked out.

Well WNU,
I don't care who Putin thinks he is, he can't go around stealing our ad campaigns:

To begin .... seriously .... "Do Not Mess With Texas" was actually stolen from an old Russian ad campaign pushed by the Czar before World War One that said "Do Not Mess With Russia".

But I will give credit where credit is due .... the cowboy hats are uniquely American.
